Botanical Illustration - FULL
Nina Lower is an artist/illustrator with a love of nature and all things botanical. Through her business Florence and Flora she produces modern watercolour floral compositions with a focus on texture and colour. In this workshop Nina will take you through some simple steps to produce your own original botanical artwork using drawing and watercolour techniques.

Bernie Winkels is the type of artist whose practice can adapt to any medium be it ceramics, painting or drawing. In this workshop Bernie will inspire you to explore mark-making as a way of creative expression. You’ll work freely with access to a wide range of materials before Bernie takes you through how to transform your visual ideas into a final composition.

Atmospheric Landscapes
Robyn Fleet is an artist from Hastings working mainly in oil paints and oil sticks. She is interested in the materiality of paint itself and what its possibilities are. In this workshop Robyn will take you through her personal painting techniques and processes including underpainting, mark making, layering and texture to create your own original oil painting.

Susan Mabin
Found Object Sculpture
Susan Mabin is a multidisciplinary artist living in Hawkes Bay. Her body of work spans the fields of installation, sculpture, painting and photography. In this workshop Susan will show you how to use Plaster of Paris to make a base as a starting point for a found object sculpture. She’ll share her process for generating ideas and selecting materials to inspire you to create your own evocative sculptural work.
